BIG GAME TRAINING
SUMMER HOCKEY TRAINING
HOCKEY TRAINING PROGRAM
Building a Strong Foundation
Just like building a house starts with a solid foundation, developing an elite hockey player begins with proper off-ice training. A strong athletic base is built through mastering posture, movement patterns, weight transfer, and stabilizer muscle control. These fundamentals create the foundation for speed, strength, power, agility, mobility, and balance—essential components for becoming a well-rounded athlete and a top-tier hockey player.
The Importance of Off-Ice Training
Off-ice training is a long-term process, not a quick fix. Results don’t happen overnight—it takes time, dedication, and a commitment to improving every day. With the right training, an average hockey player can unlock their full potential and take their game to the next level. Think of it like adding fuel to a fire—when the time is right, all you have to do is light the match.
SUMMER HOCKEY TRAINING
Dedicated to Your Development
This summer will be entirely focused on elevating your game. You will have a reserved daily training time throughout May, June, July, and August, with sessions scheduled 5–6 times per week.
How the Program Works
Before we begin, we will meet to review your past season, set goals for the upcoming year, and develop a personalized summer training plan. Every two weeks, we will track your progress by testing your body fat percentage and lean muscle mass. Your program will be tailored to your individual needs, guided by me, and adjusted as necessary.
Starting Monday mornings, before going to the gym, we go to Meades Park in Kirkland to work on Speed, Change of Direction, and Agility.
Each Wednesday, we will head to ‘the hills’ in Baie-D'Urfé for an intense session of Speed, Change of Direction, and Conditioning. Additionally, one Mobility session per week is required to maintain flexibility and range of motion.
Training Groups
While most training will be 1-on-1, there may be small groups of 2–3 athletes based on skill level. Group training is designed to foster accountability and push each athlete to their maximum potential. Group placements will be determined at my discretion.
Program Cost
The cost of the program is $125 per week, payable upfront or on the first of each month.
If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out. This will be the ultimate summer of training—designed to have you at your best for next season. Don’t miss the chance to take your game to the next level.
